Over the past 20 years, I’ve gradually taken over the running of the family farm, which straddles Braives (in the Burdinale-Mehaigne Nature Park) and Berloz, just a stone’s throw from Waremme. In keeping with the times we live in, I’m a firm believer that farming should be sustainable – in employing techniques that are kind on biodiversity and low in carbon emissions, and in producing food that’s as healthy as possible. With four sons of my own, I’m mindful of my duty to leave them fertile, living soil ready to meet the challenges of the future: their future.
